Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres is recognizing the 2019 National Addictions Awareness Week as we work to raise awareness about the impact addictions have on our families, communities and individuals. Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres has taken the initiative to continue to raise awareness about the effects of addictions on our families and celebrating members of our community who are in recovery. We are recognizing the week with various events and activities such as our Sober Walk on Thursday November 28th and our Round Dance on Saturday November 30th, 2019.
Thursday November 28th The Sober Walk will start at Canada Place (the south entrance on Jasper Ave) at 1:00pm and will conclude at the Alberta Legislature Grounds at 2pm. Guest Speakers will be addressing the crowd on the stairs of the Legislature Building at 2pm. Please dress for the weather and bring any signs, posters, or banners that you wish to display on the walk. We are doing a call out to invite all Mascots to join us on the walk!!
Saturday November 30th Round Dance will be held at Poundmakers Lodge. 25108 Poundmaker Road Sturgeon County Feast 5:30pm Dance 7:00pm Family Friendly Free Event

Thursdays Alcoholics Anonymous 8pm-9pm
Saturdays Narcotics Anonymous 7:30pm-8:30pm
Meetings are held at Poundmakers Lodge and are open to the public age 18 plus. No outside food or drinks allowed
